MAPNA Group’s Operation and Maintenance Company (MAPNA O&M) has successfully completed the overhaul and renovation of South Pars Gas Company’s (SPGC) 10th refinery in Bushehr Province.
Despite numerous obstacles, including the challenges posed by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the sizzling summer of the southern Bushehr Province, the refinery overhaul was completed in the early September ahead of the plans.
Accurate planning and management of human resources, machinery and equipment, support services and logistics, enabled MAPNA experts to complete the overhaul project with minimum incidents, bringing the total number of accident-free working hours in this refinery to more than 5,736,650 hours.
The overhaul project also created over 2,500 job opportunities in various sectors, setting a new record for SPGC for the second year in a row.
The project ushers in a new era of engineering and optimization in the overhaul and renovation of the Iranian refineries.
