MAPNA Launches New Casting Line, Static Excitation System in Alborz Province

MAPNA Group has put into operation a new direct freeze- and single crystal-casting line in the outskirts of Karaj, Alborz Province.

The new casting line was launched at MAPNA Turbine Blade Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARTO) on Sunday, November 28, 2021, in a ceremony attended by Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian and MAPNA President Abbas Aliabadi.

The casting line will be used to manufacture blades for F-Class turbines.

On the same day, MAPNA launched a modern static excitation system, dubbed MAPEX.

Designed and manufactured by MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing (MECO), MAPEX is designed for voltage control of medium and large generators, with a 470-amper power, to ensure high performance, stability and reliability in power generation.

Functional modules of MAPEX comprise ARM microprocessors and DSP technology, allowing customization of hardware and software expansions based on customer’s specifications and requirements.
