MAPNA Wins Kharg Petrochem High-Pressure Boiler Tender

MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company has won a tender for the procurement and commissioning of a high-pressure boiler for Kharg Petrochemical Complex in southern Iran.

The scope of the project includes the design, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a watertube boiler with a capacity of 50 tons of steam per hour.

The boiler will function at a temperature of 520 °C, and a pressure of 110 bar, which is classified among high pressure boilers.

MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company is engaged in the design, procurement, manufacture, installation, and commissioning heat recovery boilers, combined heat and power generation (CHP), industrial and power plant packages, and auxiliary equipment.

Kharg Petrochemical Company is the only petrochemical producer on the Kharg Island, 25 kilometers off the Persian Gulf coast. The island has a reputation for being the artery of exporting Iran’s crude oil.
